Sydney Jockey Corey Brown will be back in the saddle on Auguest 14 after the Board of Stewards of the Hong Kong Jockey Club agreed to a request from Brown to vary the penalty imposed on him by the Racing Stewards.
Brown was originally suspended for a period to expire on 28 September 2006 at an inquiry on 13 April 2006 for breaching Hong Kong Rule of Racing 60(1).
Brown returned a positive swab to cocaine.
Whilst the Board of Stewards has agreed to vary Brown's penalty, to allow him to resume riding trackwork, he is still unable to resume race riding until 28 September 2006.
