The Danny O'Brien trained dual group 1 winner Glamour Puss will miss Saturday's July Cup at Newmarket and will head straight to the breeding barn for a mating with Redoute's Choice.
O'Brien reported the mare was not 100 per cent after she trained at the weekend with connections deciding against risking the Tale of the Cat mare and have instead opted to return to Australia without having another start in England.
Glamour Puss retires with 9 wins and eight placings from a 26 start career, the Goodwood Handicap and Salinger Stakes win last Spring are the two highlights.
