Australia's record-breaking country jockey Allan Robinson will front stewards at the completion of Wednesday's Canterbury meeting to face a charge issued under AR135(b) in that he did not take all reasonable and permissible measures throughout the race on Silent Song to win or finish in the best possible placing.
The inquiry was originally scheduled for 5pm today to answer the charge in relation to his ride aboard the John Hawkes trained Silent Song on June 17 at Rosehill but Robinson advised Racing Stewards on Saturday night that he would be unable to attend due to other commitments.
