Outstanding sire Tale of the Cat (USA) has joined BOBS 2006, making all his rising two-year-olds now eligible to be paid up for the scheme.
During his race career Tale of the Cat won five races (and three placings) from just nine starts and prizemoney of $542,000. His major victory was in the Gr 2-Saratoga King's Bishop Stakes.
Tale of the Cat is the sire of 29 Stakes-winners, including Group 1 winners Glamour Puss, Lion Heart (USA), My Trusty Cat (USA), as well as Stakes-winners Falkirk (NZ), Scardee Cat (NZ), Mr Ubiquitous (NZ) and Al Jameel (NZ).
BOBS continues to thrive and with Racehorse Nominations for BOBS 2006 now being taken, a record number of eligible youngsters are expected to be entered into the scheme.
Racehorse Nominations close on Friday, 1st September 2006 at a fee of $660 (including GST). Late nominations after that date are set at $5,500 (incl. GST). There are 104 stallions paid up for BOBS 2006.
